Knowing what's out there

The first stage for e-Learning Champions is having a good awareness of what’s available. This may be searching on the Internet, tapping into communities of interest, asking colleague networks, and so on.

It is an iterative process and, in many ways, the more experience you have the easier it is to take on more new technologies and features. Expect the unexpected.

Building up a bank of experiences and reference points is helpful but not fool proof. Sharing experiences and knowing how to find a friendly who can face , is very much part of the e-Learning ethos.
